They understood, firsthand, that the cleaning chemistry programs available in the market were rarely designed with real process conditions in mind — formulations were generic, application guidelines were one-size-fits-all, technical support was thin, and operators were left to figure out the gaps on their own. The company was built to fix that problem.
From the start, Indie Chem Co operated on the principle that application and chemical treatment programs should be engineered around the specific unit, feedstock, fouling mechanism, and operational constraints of each customer — not adapted from a standard product sheet. That approach requires more work, more field knowledge, and a willingness to say no to jobs that aren't a fit. It also produces better outcomes, more consistently.
